Autumn 2014 – The run up to the event

The story so far ….As many of you will know, I took over The Vintage Chic Wedding Fair earlier this year.  Due to time restrictions, we didn’t have a spring fair, so autumn was very exciting, both for me, and for our exhibitors who had missed us in spring.

Location, location, location …..I took the decision quite quickly to move the fair from Birmingham/West Midlands to the South Midlands and Warwickshire where I am based and where more importantly, there was a clear gap in the market.  I was delighted when we quickly secured the Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa as it offered a central location and its combination of regency and art deco style, provided the perfect backdrop for our fair.

Always one step ahead…. The Vintage Chic Wedding Fair has been established since 2010 and it was one of the first wedding fairs of its kind in the country.  Since then vintage styling has understandably grown and is now more popular than ever. Keeping up to date with trends is vital so this year we very proudly launched Festival Chic, dedicated to outdoor, DIY and festival style wedding. Many elements of this style complement Vintage Chic perfectly. More new on Festival Chic later in the autumn.

I hope this little blog gives you an insight into me and the run up to the autumn fair.  The Vintage Chic Wedding Fair has always been about creating a boutique style event where like-minded suppliers can connect with each other as well as with couples, so please comment or get in touch.

My article on how the fair went will follow, Charlotte x
