Buy a designer dress and help end child marriage

Getting married should be the happiest time of your life but young girls across the world are still forced into child marriage.  Now, thanks to bridal e-tailer and social enterprise Brides Do Good, you can help end child marriage and get your hands on a wedding dress from names such as Alexander McQueen at a knock down price.  It really sounds too good to be true, but it’s not and that’s why we felt that we had to let you know all about it.

Brides Do Good has launched their first ever pop-up boutique at Bicester Village.

To celebrate the launch, guests were invited to an intimate breakfast and exclusive preview of the new bridal boutique. Hosted by TV presenter Louise Roe and BBC journalist Jane Corbin, the morning featured a Q&A discussion surrounding the global challenges of ending child marriage, a mission supported by Brides Do Good, with panellists including industry expert and founder of Browns Bride Caroline Burstein, Chantal Khoueiry the founder of Brides Do Good, bridal designer Ian Stewart, Caterina Occhio the founder of SeeMe, Christina Piaia Director of Projects and Legal Counsel, and Tanya Barron CEO of Plan International [pictured in the attached].

Guests were then treated to a first look at the boutique, where Louise Roe offered styling tips surrounding the season’s bridal trends.

A completely unique concept, Brides Do Good offers a sustainable alternative for the modern bride, showcasing beautiful pre-owned gowns donated by selfless and pioneering brides. The new boutique houses a range of bespoke pre-loved and sample dresses from an eclectic mix of international designers including Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab and Vivienne Westwood to name a few.

Whatever the budget, ‘brides to be’ have the opportunity to purchase a designer dress for a limited time only at the Brides Do Good Pop Up at Bicester Village, whilst donating to a worthy cause, with proceeds going to charities Plan International and Too Young To Wed.

Louise Roe, has also donated her gorgeous bridal gown to Brides Do Good, with 100% of the sale to be given to charities Plan International and Too Young to Wed. The stunning couture

Pronovias gown, which took 850 hours+ to create, will be on sale for £4,500 (less than 50% off the original price) in the pop up for the next ten days.

The new Brides Do Good boutique will be open 9th- 19th February.
